The Tour of Central Iowa is multi-distance, multi-surface bicycle event that takes place in beautiful rural south central Iowa. Most racers will choose to tackle the Friday evening Hill Climb, or the Saturday 100K, or 200K gravel races as a solo endeavor. Some will find an adventurous partner and tackle the 200K distance as a team.
A select few will take on the ultimate challenge of the Mann Powered 380, honoring Joe Mann. Joe was a fellow Iowan, an avid endurance cyclist, and dear friend who was taken from the lives of those who loved and knew him far too soon. This 380 mile route starts early Saturday morning, and will include both paved roads and gravel roads. You can choose to race with a support crew that can meet you at designated support locations, or race self-supported, randonneur style. Both categories will have a 38 hour time limit.
