Reclaimed Rails is a unique local microbrewery and taproom located in Bondurant, Iowa along the Chichaqua Trail. Join them for craft beer and great entertainment!

Please Welcome Reclaimed Rails Brewing Company (RRBC) as BIKEIOWA's newest sponsor.

Conveniently located on the Chichaqua Valley trail in downtown Bondurant and just 4 miles from Altoona and 15 miles from Ankeny. They are the perfect “pit stop” for cyclists and craft beer lovers alike. With 16 tap handles and root beer, your taste buds will never get bored. The entire 2500 sq ft lower level is dedicated to the brewing process from start to finish. The 2500 sq ft upstairs is where the beer enters the glass, in the taproom. There is seating for over 100 people and a historic stage that is a must see.

Come out and see why this is a great destination brewery!

RRBC opened its doors for two main reasons: the first being the immense passion the four of us owners share for quality hand crafted beer and the second being the desire to share this passion with our surrounding communities, state and country. "We all know that craft beer is on the rise. The public has spoken and asked for more flavorful beers, something that always has them grasping for more. RRBC exists to give you just that."

From a light crisp pilsner to an imperial stout and everything in between, our variety of beers are bound to please any palate out there. Enjoy a cold one here in the Taproom or take it to go! Check our current beer lineup here! Want some to go? You bet! We can accommodate with our growlers that we'll seal right in front of you and have 32 ounce growlers that you can bring back for discounted refill prices.

Watch our event calendar and our Facebook posts for Food Truck schedules. We don't have a full kitchen, but we serve Pasquale's 12" thin crust pizza! You can also bring in food from home, carryout from a local restaurant, or have something delivered! We have a few menu's for local options in the taproom. Please ask your server if you would like to see one. Cheers!

There's always something fun happening at The Rails! From live entertainment to Trivia Night, our Taproom is the perfect place to grab a beer, catch a game, and chill with friends and family. The brewery and taproom is housed in the former legion hall that was built in 1948. This two story brick has rich community history and a heritage we strive to continue. This truly is a brewery like no other in the state!

The name comes from the “reclaimed” railway a block away from the new brewery. This railway, along with many others throughout the state, have been transformed into bike trails, which have quickly become popular and part of Iowa’s pride. Biking and all of our surrounding community’s trails are a huge part of our focus and support.

Imagined and located mere minutes from Des Moines, Reclaimed Rails Brewing Company found its home in Bondurant. RRBC is a tremendous addition to the growing town of Bondurant. RRBC brews beer styles for everyone, from the farmer, to the banker, and everyone else. We are an integral part of the Bondurant/Altoona and greater Des Moines area beer scene. Local and regional restaurants are serving our beer and we are working with other breweries and retailers. Our clients are the community. Regardless of age, sex, race, or wealth, our craft beers unite those for the love of craft beer, camaraderie, and community.

The cellar houses (4) 15 BBL fermenters as well as (2) 7 BBL fermenters. Our cooler has (8) 15 BBL serving tanks that feed straight up thru the floor to the bar above. We also have room for a number of kegs for our pilot brewing system for those off the wall funky beers!
